Jac Grady is a New York based vocal coach and performer. Refusing to accept that they had to "pick a genre" Jac used their own musical curiosity and struggles to learn the proper techniques for many different styles of singing including, musical theatre, pop, rock, country, bluegrass, folk, choral, sacred and classical.

In addition to being a musician and performer, Jac is a Vocologist, and has studied the science of singing.

Jac has extensive experience working in education and has been a teacher, both classroom and private for over ten years. Jac holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University. Continuing education includes John Henny’s Contemporary Vocal Teacher Academy, Master’s coursework in Somatic Voicework the Lovetri Method, Linklater Technique, Alexander Technique, and The Esper Studio Two Year professional acting program in New York City. Jac has studied as a student and teacher with master teachers such as Aaron Hagan, John Henny, Jeannie Lovetri, Nancy Mayans and Patricia Fletcher.

Collaborations as a performer have included performing alongside Tony Award Winner Ben Vereen, Grammy Award Winners Chaka Khan and Faith Esham and many other notable artists. Jac regularly works as a teacher and coach for studio musicians and Broadway professionals as well as children, teens and adults who are just starting out. 

Jac is wildly passionate about the development of their students both professionally and personally. Helping people achieve their dreams and feel confident in their abilities is what makes Jac feel the most alive.
